Mission Statement

ROTARY CLUB of CLYDEBANK'S

Mission Statement

For over 50 years, our local Rotary Club has been working to be of help to others in our Community and elsewhere.

Rotarians may be in full or part time employment, or retired, and give of their time and talents as they are able. Rotarians want to make a difference and work to give something back, supporting freely where it is most needed while enjoying fellowship with like minded people. The motto of Rotary is "Service above Self".

In recent years, Clydebank Rotary Club has been involved with supporting a wide variety of local projects including

  • Foodbanks in Dalmuir, Old Kilpatrick, and Faifley
  • Primary and Secondary Schools in Clydebank
  • St Margaret of Scotland's Hospice
  • Glasgow City Mission
  • Clydebank's Talking Newspaper (Bankie Talk)
  • The Men's Shed

Coordinating the Annual Poppy Scotland Collection in Clydebank

Internationally we have funded over 20 Disaster Emergency boxes; education in Zambia; farming schemes in Malawi and the continuing effort to rid the world of Polio.

2024/25's major project is in partnershipwith Clydebank's Golden Friendship programme which promotes social inclusion in the district.

Rotary can improve and change lives for many people - and you can be part of our team, making a difference where it truly counts! New members, Personal or Corporate are welcome.

Clydebank Rotary Club meets on Fridays at the Clydebank & District Golf CLub from 12.45 - 2 pm. Members attend as often as they are able and keep in contact online.
